The James Kerney Foundation
The James Kerney Foundation was founded in 1934 to honor and memorialize the life of James Kerney - distinguished author and editor, statesman and diplomat, jurist and philanthropist.

The Foundation was established by his widow, Sarah Mullen Kerney, and their six children - Mary Kerney Kuser, Katherine Kerney Welling, Thomas Lincoln Kerney, James Kerney, Jr., John E. Kerney and Peggy Kerney McNeil.

The James Kerney Foundation is an independant private foundation whose support ensures a helping hand for those in need.

The Foundation serves as a legacy of James Kerney's life, focusing its support on education, family services and community development in Trenton, New Jersey and surrounding areas, by providing grants for building, renovations and capital improvements to qualifying organizations.
