The James Kerney Foundation accepts applications on the New York - New Jersey Common Application Form. Forms are available at the link below or can be obtained from the Council of New Jersey Grantmakers - 111 West State Street, Trenton, NJ 08608.
1. Please submit one copy of the application (without an outside folder).
2. A copy of the IRS determination form.
3. Provide at least one cost estimate for the project or equipment requested.

Applications are accepted January 1 through July 1 each year and after thorough review by the Board, grants will be distributed in the final quarter of each year.
The James Kerney Foundation supports necessary capital expenditures and innovative projects or the purchase of a specific piece of equipment in the Trenton, New Jersey community. The Foundation does not support general operating expenses, general endowments, conceptual plans or architectural studies.
Organizations must be a qualified charitable organization and provide a copy of the Internal Revenue Service's determination form entitling the organization to receive tax-deductible charitable gifts.
